Micromax is rolling out Android 4.2 update for its model Micromax A116 Canvas HD.The company has kept its promised by providing the customer a quick update to android 4.2 Jelly Bean.The bigger brands like Samsung And HTC  have still  not provided upgrade for their Flagship modeland the models are running on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.

MICROMAX CANVAS HD PRO SPECIFICATION LEAKED

Micromax is all set to introduce a new member to its Canvas series A120 Canvas HD Pro.The device is set to be launched on June 30,2013 as reported by Gadgetronica.com.

The Canvas HD Pro is expected to have 5.5 inch full HD display and will be powered by Cortex A7  quad-core processor.The phone will, have 2 GB of RAM for smooth functioning.The phone is expected to support 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 64 GB with the help of mocroSD card.IF this was not enough the phone is expected to come with 13 megapixel rear camera and 3.2 megapixel front facing camera.The phone will run on Jelly Bean 4.1.2.The phone is expected to have 3000 mAh battery for longer talk time.

If the rumored specification comes out to be true it will be the next flagship model for Micromax and will pose serious threat to high end smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Micromax has launched another phone in Canvas series Micromax A115 Canvas HD.This is the first 3D phone by the India company.The phone offers 3D viewing experience without the need of 3D glasses.The phone has been priced at Ts 9,999.The phone will be available from the first week of May in India.

Micromax A115 Canvas 3D comes with "Micromax 3D space" which allows users to access 3D games and videos.

Currently the only 3D mobile available in India is LG Optimus 3D which is priced at Rs 26,400. 

Micromax has been on a roll and  has sold more than 1 million Canvas series phone.Micromax is the second biggest smartphone maker in India in the last quarter of 2012.

Micromax Canvas series sales reaches 1 million

Micromax has claimed that Micromax Canvas series has sold 1 million smartphone.Micromax managed to stir up quite a bit of interest when they unveiled the A116 CanvasHD, a “phablet” — with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, the company’s first quad-core processor smartphone with Dual sim.Micromax has not been able to keep up with the demand since it launch in February 14th.It was sold out within minutes of its launch.

In a press statement released by CMO,Micromax Mr Shubhodip Pal said"The Canvas series has proved to be a trendsetter in Indian smartphone segment. The demand for these devices has been on an upward curve from the time of their launch. It was great to witness consumers wait until 12:00am for their chance to book the Canvas HD on Valentine’s Day selling 9000 units in less than 24 hours.”

Micromax is on a roll and its good to see a Indian company doing well in the market.

The price and availability of the phone are unknown but the phone is ready to hit Indian market soon.
