Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Official Update Available For Samsung Galaxy S2 in South Korea

The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update has started rolling out today for South Korea.

Earlier this month reports claimed that Samsung would be rolling out the Galaxy S2 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update at some point in February.The users of Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100  can update their devices to the latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean through official tool KIES utility.

Some of the Enhancements in the new Jelly Bean Update:
- Buttery Smooth Performance & Great Stability (Thanks to Project Butter)
- Full User Interface Revamp (Same UI as of the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II)
- TouchWiz Nature UX
- Samsung’s S Cloud services
- Improved Camera features
- New Lockscreen With Many Customization Options
- New Features like Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up Play
- New Widgets (From Galaxy S III)
- 2 Home screen modes
- New Notification bar With More Notification Toggles
- Google Now

This new OS is a bigger step up from the last major upgrade to the handset, Android ICS.

Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Official Update Available For Samsung

The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update has started rolling out today, Earlier this month reports claimed that Samsung would be rolling out the Galaxy S2 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update at some point in February.The users of Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100  can update their devices to the latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean via over the air (OTA) or through official tool KIES utility. However, since the update is rolling out in phases, not all the users could be able to update their devices right away. But the users should not worry as the update would arrive in their country or network provider soon.
