BBM LIKELY TO BE ARRIVING ON ANDROID AND iPHONE ON 27TH OF JUNE

Blackberry is likely announce BBM service for Android and iPhone devices on 27th of June according to Dnaindia.However a final release date has not been announced due to pending talks with Google and apple.

BBM is also likely to come pre-loaded in android devices.BlackBerry COO, Kristian Tear told CNet that “there is interest from other handset makers”. 

This might be the master stoke from blackberry but some analysts are not sure about this tactics from Blackberry but until this service is available for some months it might be to early to call the shots.

Micromax is all set to introduce a new member to its Canvas series A120 Canvas HD Pro.The device is set to be launched on June 30,2013 as reported by Gadgetronica.com.

The Canvas HD Pro is expected to have 5.5 inch full HD display and will be powered by Cortex A7  quad-core processor.The phone will, have 2 GB of RAM for smooth functioning.The phone is expected to support 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 64 GB with the help of mocroSD card.IF this was not enough the phone is expected to come with 13 megapixel rear camera and 3.2 megapixel front facing camera.The phone will run on Jelly Bean 4.1.2.The phone is expected to have 3000 mAh battery for longer talk time.

If the rumored specification comes out to be true it will be the next flagship model for Micromax and will pose serious threat to high end smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

Spice Mobility has launched a Dual-Core Phablet at Rs 6,999.The phablet is named Smart Flo Pace 2 Mi-502.The phablet comes with a screen guard along with free leather cover worth Rs 500.The phablet is available for Rs 6,999 at e-commerce site as well as in retail.

The phone runs on Android 4.0(Ice cream sandwich) and is powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor and offers 512 MB RAM.The internal storage of the phone is a let down with only 512 MB but it can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.The phone has a resolution of  800* 480p. The phone boost a 5 megapixel camera at the rear and 1.3 MP front camera.

On the connectivity side this phone includes 2G,Wi-Fi Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. The phone will offer a talk time of 5 hours with the help of 2100 mAh battery.

Samsung has announced the successor to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2,Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.The next generation tablet doesn't have great addition to offer.The 7 inch tablet will run on  Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The Wi-Fi version of the tablet will be available from May while the 3G version will come in June.The price pf the tablet in India has not been disclosed.

Micromax Canvas series sales reaches 1 million

Micromax has claimed that Micromax Canvas series has sold 1 million smartphone.Micromax managed to stir up quite a bit of interest when they unveiled the A116 CanvasHD, a “phablet” — with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, the company’s first quad-core processor smartphone with Dual sim.Micromax has not been able to keep up with the demand since it launch in February 14th.It was sold out within minutes of its launch.

In a press statement released by CMO,Micromax Mr Shubhodip Pal said"The Canvas series has proved to be a trendsetter in Indian smartphone segment. The demand for these devices has been on an upward curve from the time of their launch. It was great to witness consumers wait until 12:00am for their chance to book the Canvas HD on Valentine’s Day selling 9000 units in less than 24 hours.”

Micromax is on a roll and its good to see a Indian company doing well in the market.

Micromax has kept its words and updated one of its most popular phone to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.The update can be downloade from Micromax FTP servers or via the phone's dedicated forum on XDA Developers.

The update is not available over the air but by manually flashing the operating system Rom.Its better to update the phone by visiting a service centre because  a wrong step could even lead to bricking of the phone.

The update is 282 Mb in size and bring New wallpaers and colur scheme into the phone.
