Asus to Launch Fonepad for Rs 15,500

Asus is all set to launch the Fonepad for Indian Market tomorrow. Fonepad is a 3G tablet with SIM Slot and hence can be used as a smartphone.The Fonepad will come with a price tag of Rs 15,500.

Specification of Fonepad

• Software:-Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2.

• Processor:-Atom Z2420 Processor running at 1.2 GHz.

• Display:-7 Inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280*800.

• Ram:-1 GB.

• Storage:-Internal 8/16 GB with micro SD storage of 32 GB.

• Camera:-Rear 3 megapixel with auto focus,Front 1.2 megapixel camera.

Asus is offering 5 GB of cloud storage with Fonepad.The tablet comes with all the features of a smartphone and this will be the selling point of the tablet.

Nokia teases New Smartphone

Nokia seems to be working on a new Qwerty  smartphone.The company posted a write up in its blog teasing a new smartphone.Nokia didn't disclosed what it was going to announce but posted this on their blog.

"You won’t have to wait long to find out.

On Wednesday morning at 7am GMT (8am UK time) we will be announcing something new, followed by a Q&A session with Neil Broadley from our Mobile Phones team and a special guest."

The teaser on the blog shows yellow device screen with corner of the keyboard hinting a Qwerty smartphone.

Wait for the official announcement to see what Nokia pulls out of its bag.
