Datawind the maker of low cost tablet Aakash has finally shipped 1 lakh units to the government.The deal is completed almost after two- and-half years and is marked with controversies.
Datawind had won the contract to supply low cost budget to government in 2011 at a price range of $49.98 which translated to Rs 2,276 at that time.
